Michael Roland Gordon

Rollie brings a profusion of practical experience and marine knowledge to Slakoff, Stahl, Gordon & Associates.

Rollie obtained his first captains license at the age of eighteen. He moved to Florida from his native state of Massachusetts, where he enjoyed a long successful career as a private yacht captain. During his twenty year tenure as a captain, Rollie operated, managed, organized refit programs, and consulted on construction of new privately owned yachts. This broad scope of knowledge and exceptional experience steered a natural course for Rollie to become a marine surveyor.

Rollie entered the Slakoff organization in 1993 as a marine consultant and captain under the management of the company's founder, Gerald Slakoff. Gerald and Rollie developed a strong working and tutorial relationship which has culminated with Rollie Gordon becoming a well established and highly regarded marine surveyor.

Rollie's vast knowledge of private yachts integrated with his professional approach, gives each and every client both an objective, practical, and informative survey, as well as a on-going relationship before, during, and after the marine survey.
